Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using RegalForge ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and TheSorskod ("we", "our", or "us").

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software as follows:

Personal License

• Valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase
• May be installed on unlimited personal devices owned by you
• For personal, non-commercial use only
• Includes updates released during the license period

Professional License

• Valid in perpetuity (lifetime license)
• May be installed on unlimited devices owned or operated by you
• Includes commercial use rights
• Includes all future updates

3. Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Redistribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Software
• Share your license key with others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
• Use the Software to process media you do not have rights to

4. Intellectual Property

The Software, including all code, graphics, user interface, and documentation, is owned by TheSorskod and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your license does not grant you any ownership rights to the Software.

5. Third-Party Components

The Software includes FFmpeg, which is licensed under the LGPL/GPL. FFmpeg source code is available at ffmpeg.org. Your use of FFmpeg is subject to its license terms.

6. Payment and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in USD unless otherwise specified.

Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of the Software, all sales are final and non-refundable. However, if you experience any technical issues with the Software, please contact us at [email protected] and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

7. Delivery

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

• An email with your download link and license information
• Access to download the Software immediately
• Download links expire after 7 days but can be reissued upon request

Support is provided via email at [email protected].

• Personal License: Standard email support
• Professional License: Priority email support

We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours on business days.

9. Updates

We may release updates to the Software at our discretion. Your license entitles you to updates as specified in your license type. We are not obligated to provide updates indefinitely for Personal licenses beyond the one-year term.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Software will meet your specific requirements
• The Software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results from using the Software will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Software will be corrected

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THESORSKOD BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Software
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any third-party conduct related to the Software
• Any other matter relating to the Software

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TheSorskod from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Software or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate your license immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Software ends immediately
• You must destroy all copies of the Software
• No refund will be provided for termination due to breach

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TheSorskod regarding the Software and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
